Oh my…
Here’s my advice, after climbing for only 7 weeks:
1. harness should be tight enough to not slide off if you fall upside down. Thats all.
2. Shoes: Get someone that’s tight. They are not running-shoes, they are not supposed to feel comfy.
3. The gear-loops on your harness is for quickdraws, and for camming/protection devices when climbing trad. (and of course for slings, prusik, and so on..)
4. …not enough space for more writing… You get the idea.. =S
if your starting climbing PLEASE note, make sure you tighten your waist buckle(s) first…if you invert, thats whats going to hold you in…not your leg loops…
i like when he first demonstrated shows he put only the toe on a huge hold.

i agree and it also does not show any form of putting the webbing back through maybe people have to assume that as well
he also failed to mention that you should always use a locking carabiner to attach an atc to your harness, he was using an autolocking biner, and it shouldnt be up to us to realize that.
Maybe we are supposed to assume the rope part, since this is indoors and all climbing gyms have ropes.

You are not supposed to do your waist first it just makes it easier and it looked like the harness was already semi tightened so it didnt really matter. The approaching in climbing shoes was a little weird. I think another piece would be maybe…uh a ROPE!

He wears his harness too low…it’s supposed to be at your iliac crest…frig makes me want to do a video on the proper way to wear a harness. Also he failed to mention that the waist needs to be fairly snug. Leg loops-make em comfy. Idiots.
